Salaam. I’m not here to cause arguments about sects or anything
I follow the Hanafi madhab and Alhamdulillah I’m starting to seek knowledge of the deen. I’m reading books from a range of old traditional learned people such as imam Al Ghazali.
So my insta is full of these random Islamic pages so I shared a post which was Islamic knowledge from a salafi scholar. Someone asked me why are you taking knowledge off this scholar and this and that.
My question here is do you, a student of knowledge/learning the deen, see any harm in taking knowledge of those who do not share the same aqeedah as you?
Honestly I don’t see an issue with it if it’s knowledge within the Quran and Sunnah but I would want your opinion. Feel free to advise and share. Jazak’Allah Khayran
