Like in Turkey or Malaysia. Since while they are Islamic they might either be too extreme or don’t run well. In Malaysia, the Islamic party controls the two worst (one being the poorest) states but they are still Islamic at the end of the day.

If you look at Turkey, Erodogan is from AKP - a secular political party. Say what you want about his doings but his parties’s core beliefs have secularism in them.

Granted these two nations are secular. What about non-secular Muslim nations?
