Hello there! I'm a Mexican writer and I'm writing a book with a Muslim side character named Matías. I know that you guys don't drink alcohol and don't eat certain foods, but what about going to parties/bars? Is that acceptable? Obviously you don't drink when going, but you guys can just dance, right? My character, Matías, is invited to a bar in his Mexican hometown but don't know if that's even possible in Islam. Also, anything regarding food, simple costumes and traditions are welcome.♡ My character is half Egyptian, half Mexican. He's a young guy about 20-27 years old! Thank you so much for your time!
