I'm a recent convert, I don't speak a word of Arabic but I want to at least complete my 5 prayers a day, however I also want to understand the meaning so my prayer is worth something, but I have been having trouble as I seemingly can mainly only concentrate on one thing, either the sound of the pronunciation, or the meaning of the prayer. Arabic is also extremely hard to memorise for me, let alone remember 5 prayers daily. Lastly, I want to understand it to the fullest, so many translations seem vastly different and I want to understand the true Arabic meaning that the Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) set for us. Any advice?
