Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters. Earlier today I was watching a lecture by the late Dr. Israr Ahmed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtFlqmlorTY). For those of you who don't understand Urdu, he mentions that the Quran talks about how Azazeel challenged Allah s.w.t. that he would lead most of humanity astray and prove to Allah s.w.t. that they are not worthy of the rank that Allah s.w.t. has set for them. As we see today, most of humanity has been led astray and Islam has been in a constant state of decline for centuries, and we can only imagine how much worse it's gonna get. So my question is, wouldn't this be a victory for Azazeel [Na'uzubillah]? I would really appreciate if someone could give me a detailed answer. Jazaak Allah.
