Abd El Kader is someone I look upto after finding this video and I intend to spend time researching his life. His struggle to unite Muslim tribe to fight against foreign occupiers is inspiring. But not as inspiring as his treatment towards prisoners of war. It is saddening to see the direction the Ummah has gone. We're divided, care more about our nationalities rather than unity for the Ummah. Filed with hypocrisy, uneducated and corrupt Muslims. Who have put their cultural norms over Islam....something Islam was trying to remove.
His treatment of minorities is also respectable, a shame to see how some Muslim countries treat their minorities.
I feel he's a figure which should taught about more.
