I am a secular member of a different abrahamic faith, and over the past few years I have tried to expand my knowledge of different religions and philosophies, with Islam being one of them. I joined this subreddit to try and learn more about the people of Islam , as well as the teachings. I just wanted to say that despite any ideological differences I might have with whoever is reading this, I wanted to acknowledge that I have only ever seen compassion and love on posts here. I wish I could help alter the poor perception many people have of the Islamic faith as, judging from this and my Muslim friend, it is a peaceful and prosperous group. I hope we can all, regardless of any earthly differences, create a peaceful future for all creeds/race, and ethnicities. Mashallah my friends. (I hope I used that correctly) I greatly enjoy being part of this subreddit.
