I have a lot of Pokemon cards from a while ago and I was planning on selling them, but then I remembered that Saudi Arabia issued a fatwa against Pokemon. I tried to look up if Pokemon cards were haram but most of the fatwas just mentioned the Saudi ruling. There is also the issue of them having images of animate objects, which seems to be a controversial topic as well.
If they are haram and I cannot sell them, what do I do with them? Can I give them away to a friend or would I just have to hold onto them forever or throw them away?
