Assalamu alaykum. I live in the US and the normal procedure for giving Fitr is usually done before the eid prayer at my local masjid. As this years pandemic has placed restrictions on public gatherings, I don’t believe the masjid will be holding Salatul Eid this year. If there is no Salah, do we still have that brief window to give Fitr? I know there are no exceptions to giving Fitr so I am curious if anyone knows how to fulfill this requirement. I know you cannot give Fitr until the new moon of shawwal is seen. Jazaakamu allah in Advance.
