What are the best passages of the Bible & Quran Christians and Muslims can read and discuss, that will bring them closer together as people?

Hey there!

Me and a couple of buddies from various Christian and Muslim backgrounds are reading the Bible one week and Quranic translations the next, over zoom.

I wanted to hear your suggestions on what texts from the Qoran & Bible would be good examples, not to contrast religions but to discuss the content itself & ask questions.

Think of it like a book club. Only this club's got some religious bois. Any off-topic suggestions are also welcome. The Qoran translations can be dense without any background so any texts and works that adequately explain the book would be greatly appreciated.
