A lot of Iraqi family I know their sons/daughters aren’t taught to learn salat.

So I have a few friends from Iraq and a lot of the second generation don’t even know how to salat. This seems to be a trend among a lot of second generation immigrants from Muslim countries. Any reason this is common?
