To my knowledge, murder is an unforgivable sin for Muslims. However, when a non Muslim accepts Islam sincerely, his or her past sins are forgiven and is given a clean slate. Does this condition still apply if the non Muslim was a killer or a rapist given that he/she accepts Islam sincerely? Do they go to heaven if they die?
