Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. I'm sure we all have stories of when duaas that meant a lot to us, were answered. I know I certainly have. As part of showing gratitude to Allah SWT please share one of your experiences, I'd love to hear them and I'm sure it will also inspire others about the importance of duaa and relying on Him alone. Especially with Ramadan right around the corner, it's a time when most Muslims increase in duaa and try to better their lives. Let's get inspired...

I'll share one of my many experiences. One time in January 2017 I was extremely devastated about something I had found out about a family member of mine. It was 2:00AM and I was laying in bed, and I was in that much emotional pain that my chest physically ached. In the depths of my aching, it just felt like instinct to call out in a whisper over and over again, "Ya Rabb, remove the pain from my chest, remove the pain from my chest." Within 30 seconds of doing this for some reason all the physical pain faded away slowly and I was laying there thinking what is going on... and then all of a sudden I had an urge out of nowhere to open up my Qur'an, when at that point in my life I rarely read the Qur'an. I opened it up to a random page and the first verse my eyes fell upon were: "[This is] a Book revealed to you, [O Muhammad] - so let there not be in your breast distress therefrom - that you may warn thereby and as a reminder to the believers." - Quran 7:2. THE EMOTIONS THAT I EXPERIENCED IN THAT MOMENT. Needless to say, pain was no longer one of them.

Let's hear your stories.
