Salam,

there is a unique verse in Quran, which channels the linguistical styles of both Torah and Gospel in describing the characteristics of prophet Muhammad and his followers, their quality and status as a group.

l will give both Torah and Gospel verses that backs up verse 48:29, so we'll divide this in two parts: Torah section and Gospel section:

However, one thing people forget is that, it talks about characteristics of righteous person, not individual - like 5 star hotel is about level of quality and not about a particular hotel named 5 stars - so it describes characteristics of 5 star hotel - keep this in mind.

Torah sections:

Verse 48:29 You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah.

So, their mark is a bowing and prostrating in Torah- meaning they fit this qualitative description and bowing and prostrating is highest sign of righteousness, so here are following verse from Torah:

Isaiah 45:22 “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:23 Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.

Isaiah 66:23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord.

Psalm 95:6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;

Psalm 138:2 I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name

Psalm 145:21 My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His holy namefor ever and ever.

Psalm 146:8 the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.

Psalm 22:28 for dominion belongs to the Lord and He rules over the nations.

Psalm 22:29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will kneel before him.

Psalm 145:19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.

Proverbs 10:3 The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but He thwarts the craving of the wicked.

Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.

Isaiah 60:5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy;the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

Joel 2:26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.

Gospel section:

Verse 48:29 And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers -

So, their mark is a plant, which grows and strengthens and becomes strong and firm - this refers to their faith inside the heart, so here are verse from Gospel which speaks of this characteristics as well.

Mark 4:3-9 “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. - Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”

Matthew 13:31-32 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Luke 13:18-19 Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”
