Assalamu alaikum everybody.
My cousins are in the worst kind of danger. Hypocrisy and kufr. They are people that mock islam and make very offensive jokes about it, even though we all grew up in muslim households.
From an outsiders perspective they just seem like they have low imaan. But I know how bad they’ve fallen into shaytaan’s trap.
Because they were my role models when growing up, I used to imitate almost everything they did. So they considered me one of them and as I grew up I also got affected by their evil.
Alhamdulillah not so long ago I had realized that I was being led straight to hellfire if I died in that state.
But the thing is. I can understand where they’re coming from. That’s why I feel like I need to do my best to give proper dawah to them.
Because we’ve never really had any deen taught to us in a rational, logical way.
The things we knew taught like: Don’t do this don’t do that. Read this for protection from the jinn. It didn’t really make sense. You get the idea.
So the thing is, they don’t take religion seriously. But I don’t really like bringing it up in a topic because they talk about trivial things like why don’t you listen to music or why don’t you play games anymore? Instead of asking useful questions like why do you believe in a god or why islam?
Please give me some tips in how I can be more confident and give proper dawah.
And take 1 minute of your time to make dua for their guidance please, your one minute could save their eternity if Allah accepts your dua. JazakAllah. Sorry for making it so long.
