I am a recent convert alhamdulillah, and many things are still unclear to me.
For example, I am aware that children's toys are considered permissable. Does the same ruling apply for other media intended towards children? I own many childrens books at home, which I would love to read for my children if Allah (SWT) would ever bless me with it. Practically all the books include pictures and artistical expression that may not be permissible according to Islamic rules on art. However, given that they are intended towards children, are they considered permissible?
