Asalaam Alaikum,

First of all I'm not a scholor or whatsoever. So I came upon this website (http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/flood-myths.html) and it's really interesting to read the stories of those folklore myths.

However if you read some stories carefully you see the similarity between the story of prophet Nuh (Alaihis Salam) and their story, but if you think about it Allah sent to every nation a messenger.

“Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them.” [Faatir 3524]

“And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghoot (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taghoot besides Allah)” [an-Nahl 16:36].

So I think this is not a coincidence, because if ever prophet has been sent to ever nation on earth than the story of prophet Nuh (Alaihis Salam) has also been told to those nations and later on the story of Prophet Nuh has been edit and changed throughout time, but that's how I personally view it.

I'm not telling all those stories are true or to believe it, but I can't deny it either that Allah has sent prophets to ever nations on earth and not telling the stories of Adam or Nuh to their people.
