Nothing hurts me more than being constantly brought down and discriminated against on the basis of my religion. It hurts a lot.
I decided to venture into the criticisms and trying to understand the other side
I need to ask, brothers, to show me the other side of some of these things
I want my doubts to be cast away
To go through them
- We are a religion of peace right, to kill is haram. Why is it that in the invasion of Banu Qurayza, so many were beheaded? Why is it that there have been barbaric actions done,
- Why is it that so many terrorist attacks are done by muslim groups, like the Taliban and ISIS and such (quoted in the top three of terrorist deaths for 2018 I believe). If the qur'an preaches peace, why is it that these groups are allowed to rise to power and such?
- Sahih Bukhari (52:256) - The Prophet... was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, "They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans)." I don't particulary understand why it's ok to kill woman and children.
- Why is it that theres despair in countries like Pakistan and other muslim countries. Why has Allah not helped those who are suffering and in pain. Why is it that only the white-dominated countries risen to power and are "first world countries"
My goal is to come back stronger after having thoughts
I've been lost before and I don't want to go back to that. Please remind me what it means to be muslim.
How do you know FOR SURE. If you weren't born into islam, how do you know that it is the right religion.
I've started praying more, starting reading more. But today everything just kinda fell one me and I need some help to pick myself back up.
