I am not Muslim and this post is not meant to be disrespectful in any way I’m just looking to learn a bit more! Why do children not have to wear hijabs Would it be okay for a Muslim woman who wears a hijab to wear a wig since she is not technically showing her hair? Why do some women wear niqabs over hijabs? In countries where niqabs are the norm is there stigma for women who just choose to wear hijabs? I have seen some women that wear a hijab but it’s more like a loose head scarf and you can still see their hair. Is this still considered proper? Lastly, (correct me If I’m wrong) but from what I understand, covering the hair is supposed to be about modesty but some women wear designer hijabs (doesn’t this defeat the whole purpose of modesty)?
