Assalamu aleykum wa rahmatu Allah wa baratuh,
I have been trying to understand the concept of dignity in islam and to read about it but I really struggle to find ressources from scholars, so I turn to you.
Can someone please explain to me what is meant when we say lowering the gaze protects other people's dignity? Or why covering ourselves protects our dignity?
What does dignity mean?
