I was thinking that the threat of punishment for Zina/adultry will put off many rape victims from coming forward since if they cannot prove the rape happened they could be potentially be severely hurt or killed under a Islamic Sharia? Rape even in developed countries is a difficult thing to prove and many victims are scared to come forward even with the #metoo movement.
