Taking the correct stance on LGBT is not merely stating that liwat is haram but also opposing all the means that promote it

Taking the correct stance on LGBT is not merely stating that liwat is haram. Everyone says this. Even progressive activists like Linda Sarsour say this (whilst holding hands with LGBT people and saying they are her "best friends").

The correct stance is to:

• Oppose liwat AND

• Oppose LGBT normalization and political agenda whilst calling out its fasad in no uncertain terms

BOTH are necessary. Those who only do 1 and deliberately avoid 2 or are wishy washy or say that it is "an ijtihadi matter" are misguiding the community. They know very well that the vast majority of Muslims are not falling into liwat. They know very well that the question of supporting LGBT rights is the main issue and that the community is under siege by the LGBT rights movement due to:

• Categorization of teaching against this as "hate speech"

• Forcing pro LGBT curriculum in public schools and even Islamic schools

• Forcing Islamic schools and masajid to abide by LGBT anti discrimination policies

• Criminalizing "conversion therapy" i.e., training those with same sex desires to possibly leave homosexuality

• Allowing gay couples to adopt children, including Muslim orphans

• Creating a culture of silence and self-censorship because imams and teachers are afraid of prosecution merely for teaching the ayat in Quran about Qawm Lut

And more.

These are the legal and political attacks against the Muslim community GLOBALLY and they are all about LGBT rights, not whether liwat is haram. The Rainbow Juggernaut doesn't care if you think liwat is haram or halal as long as you and your chidlren are drowning in alphabet goop and suffocating from it.

But some imams refuse to even acknowledge the possibility of Muslims resisting and pushing back against this onslaught! They won't even acknowledge it, let alone promote it, demand it! And then, you have a special class of compassionate imam, in a class of his own, who:

• Promotes LGBT rights via his institute

• Attempts to justify working with and allying with LGBT groups

• Praises and works with pro LGBT activists and politicians on a regular basis

• Speaks at an LGBT vigil

• Tells a reporter that whether mosques accept gay Muslims or not depends on how American they are

• Says repeatedly that "discrimination" against LGBT is wrong.

• Never, ever says one peep publicly against LGBT rights lest his progressive Democratic network catch wind of it and cancel his next prayer in Congress.

But we shouldn't dare criticize any of these things because the imam once said 7 years ago that liwat is haram...?

Stop falling for these tricks, my brothers and sisters! The future of the community is at stake.
