Assalam Alaykum. I am a recent revert and still there are a lot of things I am not sure about. I also recently separated from my husband. I was civilly married before being Muslim. The separation is mostly unrelated to reversion. Anyway, I am looking for accomodation, preferably with other women and need somewhere safe because I am potentially in danger from my ex. I don’t really have family. I found a very nice woman who offered me accomodation and she has other women living there. The only problem is she is married so there will be a male in the house. They are religious but not Muslim FYI.
If i am completely modest, cover myself fully in front of the male, have no bad intentions, is it wrong and against Islam to live with them. It is normal in my country for men and women to live together in such an arrangement and with no bad intentions. It’s very hard to find a place where only women stay.
I intend to find a more permanent place with only women but I need somewhere fast because I am trying to move somewhere quickly my ex can’t find me.
