As-salamu alaykum everyone. Me and my mother were having a discussion yesterday about how bad these times are that they've stopped Umrah and regular prayers at Makkah and Madinah and it got me thinking about two things:

What happens to this year's Hajj? Now there is a counter question on this front that I had, I theorised that if this thing gets so big the authorities would need to cancel the Hajj for this year, shouldn't/wouldn't there be some message/mention/prophecy for something this huge? Is someone aware of some such mention in any book?

When was the last time something like this happened? We've heard of so many epidemivs during the history, how did life go on as normal during those times?
