If Allah already knows what will happen in my life from beginning to end, what is the point of my existence?

This is a major question I've had about the religion. If Allah knows everything, then what's the point of me being alive. I recognize that I have free will to make whatever choices I want to make, but since allah already knows what those decisions will be, then why not send me to heaven or hell, and cut out the whole life thing? And how is this any different than not having freewill, since he KNOWS my fate already. This is the main thing that's really shaking my belief, because I have a hard time believing anything else if I can't believe this
