This is a VERY controversial statement. For the following reasons.

  1. As this sub or any liberal muslim will tell you, "we and I are not the judge of wether someone is a believer or not."
  2. We don’t know what is inside someone's heart. Only Allah Swt knows.

I think not making statements like this or being passive erodes the religion from the inside. I see people being expressive about committing a sin and advertising as a positive thing. I see Muslims advocating for committing a sin publicly to fit in. I see people accepting sinners at face value. I haven’t found it anywhere in Holy Quran "let live" type of things. The Holy Quran has made the guidelines of individual and community of Muslims explicit and strict.

Sure you can turn your eyes when you see someone celebrating a sin but accepting and rejoicing their sin? I am extremely surprised how some of the "Muslim" act so liberally.

All these type of behaviour sends the wrong message.

My case in point is the LGBT acceptance in muslim community, acceptance of usage mind altering drugs as self prescribed medication, not having any regrets in masturbating, being sexually provocative and sexualizing hijab, not trying find an alternative to interest based services and saying oh well.

I see Muslims committing homosexual deed and making it part of their lifestyle. And all the time some hijabi sister will keep yelling "You go girl. We, Muslim support you". This is the most hypocritic thing ever.

I sin. But I couldn't help it. I feel regret. I won't defend my actions just to feel good about myself.

I see liberal muslims reading the Quran bending the interpretations to fit their agenda. Then they will defend sinners. This is wrong.

Let me tell you a personal story. After my father's retirement and with our existing debt we were facing impending financial crisis. I have studied accounting. On a whim I got a banking job with an incredible salary. In my class I was not only the first to get a job but I had the highest salary.

But my parents did not accept a dime of money. They just wouldn’t. They won't even eat anything I bought with that money. I started to work as a tutor on the weekends and nights so I could give them some halal money. I was working 80 hours a day just after finishing college.

I could see all my muslim colleagues make up random causes to justify their haram income. But their are just causes and nothing more.

Eventually I left my job after few months and now I am temporarily unemployed for a while. Nobody in this world except for my family understood my problem. Everyone has accepted that interest activities as a part of daily life.

I am ashamed as people are calling me deranged for leaving this good of a job. Community has singled out my parents telling them their has son has gone to the dogs and is probably a head case.

So, my parents are old fashioned. This whole post can be interpreted as personal story. But at the end of the day like our Mohammed (PBUH) as muslims you have to make great sacrifices, as muslims you will be an outcast of modern society and as muslims hold your faith strongly.

You can say it is not my position to judge who is a muslim or not. But I ask is it your position to crown a explicit sinner a muslim? If you keep ignoring and ignoring then who is defining what is it to be a muslim. At the end of the islam is not a community, it is religion, by definition it has restrictions and rules. It is just not a community.

You can downvote me. You can give your twisted self assuring interpretations but at the end of the day you, to me are doing nothing but an agent, eroding this religion. I hope you have a great day.
