Assalamualalikum. Brothers and Sisters, firstly Alhamdulillah for the guidance of Islam. The past few years have been hard upon us to describe in the least. But I never thought how much that would change me and many of us here as individual, by Allah. It is in these tough times, that I felt the true essence of quran and its magnanimity. We cannot thank Him enough for what he has bestowed us with. Coming to the state of affairs that have been here, Brothers and sisters, the seemingly awful happenings here are due to two reason
1)As a punishment for our sins. Allah's messenger truly stated that this ummah will follow people of scriptures bit for bit and this has let to similar consequences falling on us like they fell on them once. One can read first ruku of surah Bani israel to find out what happened with them when they casued corruption where Allah mentions
[Then Allah said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed.
[17:8]
2)As a test and a trail of what is bound to befall the believers in this world for their faith. Allah mentions in surah Ankaboot
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?
But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.
[29:2-3]
So our aim has to be to repent to Allah and continue treading on the path of Islam come what may. We should also not confuse the calamities that are falling on ummah as a punishment or forsaking of Allah even though we believe in him as this means lack of faith and conviction in Allah Almighty. You duas have helped indeed helped us. Explaining them, is beyond the scope of this post. Its high time we all **Sincerely** to Him and continue seeking his aid. Leave those sins of privacy brothers that an explicit sign of lacking Ikhlas. Practice sunnan of prophet consistently and like Allah mentions, He has taken it as a right upon himself to aid the believers. Indeed, to believer, is profits at all time, tough times make him patient and good time make him grateful and both are good for him. Never fall in despair for being believers and the tests we are going through for our faith. Like Allah almighty mentioned
And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah," but when one [of them] is harmed for [the cause of] Allah, they consider the trial of the people as [if it were] the punishment of Allah . But if victory comes from your Lord, they say, "Indeed, We were with you." Is not Allah most knowing of what is within the breasts of all creatures?
We are a people, whose most priced possession should be in our hearts. Something no one can possibly snatch away. We should be people who are sufficed with their faith and faith is an enough a sufficiency to them.
