What are the checks and balances? What are the councils? Who is eligible to be a ruler or council member? Where do scholars fit in? How does the military fit in?
I have recently being been reading Plato's Republic and found his commentary on democracy very interesting. He talks about its strengths and weakness. Now I want to know about my culture and religious form of government. How is a caliphate organized?
Can anyone help me out an explanation or maybe resources?
