Sayyidda Aisha narrated: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "It is important to have the consent of a young virgin (when marrying her off). I said, "But sometimes a young virgin feels shy [to say yes even though she wants to]." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then her silence implies her consent." [Bukhari and others]
