So, I made this post a while ago and thought I should give you all an update.
So, I got told a couple weeks ago that I have been accepted for an interview, at just about the best of the programs I applied to at that time. The interview is tomorrow, and I am flying out to a nearby city to have the interview. Once I get through this hurdle and if this interview goes well, I should be set for a full medical degree, as this is a 6 year program which will give me the equivalent of an MD degree.
On the OG post, I mentioned that I will try to make du'a during my hajj this summer for those who make du'a for me to do well on this application, whether or not my application goes as well as I'd hoped. The offer still stands, and I would definitely appreciate some du'a. I am still fully planning to go to Hajj this summer, and I am soon to book the tickets. If any of you have any specific du'as you want me to make for you, go ahead and request them, but please make du'a for me in my application as well.
Jazakumullahu khair for your guys' time. May Allah have mercy upon us all.
Edit: Clarity and: In case it wasn't clear, my application did get turned in fine, alhamdulillah. I've only heard from one university back so far, and this is this interview. Usually, many students don't hear back until late march or early April though, so it's not unusual
