Skepticism and cynicism nowadays is so common and prevalent. It's everywhere. We see all kinds of corruption on tv by WASP politicians in Washington or WASP organizations being exposed as thieves. That's them. That has nothing to do with us. CAIR is one of the few groups (certainly the most well-known) who politically fights for and defends Muslims and their rights.
Me, I have a monthly donation going because the fight and defense of Muslims and their rights and their justice in this day and age is a long one. And in the west, including America, money and lobbying is the way to get a seat at the table and have your concerns addressed. If you have to, cancel one subscription you have (which is what I did), lower your cellphone bill or do whatever, to take on a monthly donation. You don't even have to do all of that if you don't want to. One dollar a month is sufficient. Even a dollar from everybody here makes a massive difference and could rival some of the most influential lobby groups in Washington.
