I am a Jehovah’s Witness. One of my fellow JWs used to visit a Muslim to study the Bible. I’m not an expert on Islam, but I’d say I know a bit. Enough to know that what my friend told me sounded... off. He was telling me about his visits with this Muslim and he told me about the subjects they talked about, I recognized most of them. But then he told me that the Muslim he visited said that God allows sin and evil because it’s necessary? I was wondering if this was an actual belief in Islam, or if it was just something that a fringe group believe. Or maybe it was just that guy. Or maybe another doctrine could be confused for that?
