I am an atheist... Sort of.
That is to say, I am not actively attending any religious services, am not a member of any religious group, and was raised by my parents to believe in secularism. I think they were wrong to have done so, but that is the past and I cannot change it.
I am also an American, and that means that Christian reading material is much more available to me, as well as Christian advice from friends and coworkers. I have read some very convincing logical arguments that God exists, and those arguments have all, up until now, been Christian.
This bothers me. I can't feel as if I've made a decision about the nature of the universe based on only hearing one side of the case, but I don't know where to start looking for Islam's side of things.
Can anyone advise me on books that I can read to educate myself on this topic?
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
