Nothing infuriates me more than Muslims themselves bashing or putting down our ummah.
What good does it do?
For us Muslims in the west, we already know the difficulty that comes with living western culture, the temptations, the struggle to keep our identity and putting our prayers first. But we also know that our struggles could never compare to what the middle east is going through and the genocides that are taking place. I guarantee if you walked into any masjid here in the U.S that Muslims in (China, India, Myanmar, Syria, Iraq..etc) will be brought up. We do care and it sucks to hear when a Muslim get's the spotlight on the situation he puts us down.
I know we can do more and at the same time, I know we are trying to make sense of it.
Otherwise, I am proud to be a part of this sub.
