Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters,

Do you think that the disciples of Jesus thought that Jesus was the son of god/same as god, and preached the same?

Or do you think that train of thought came later with the Romans etc?

I think muslims think that the "son of god/same as God" mantra grew over time in the first few centuries; is it true?

What are your thoughts on this?
