As a student of Science and Psychology, I am extremely tempted and curious to trying an intoxicant such as Alcohol (of course just once).
I simply wish to try it, to know what the effects feel like.
My understanding to why Islam has banned it is, because it causes people to do bad things, forget about prayer etc.
And i agree to these reasons, but can it be justified for trying it for curiousity, with a firm mindset that I will never try it again, purely for educational gain?
Ps: The wine in the hereafter is said to not cause intoxication, so even a lifetime worth of abstinence will never solve that curiosity :(
