That vowel sound in 'majreha' doesn't exist anywhere else in the Quran. It doesn't exist in Arabic, AFAIK. What is it doing here? Is it a loanword? Could pure Arabic speakers from around the Prophet's time understand and pronounce this just right?
Like, just what is going on with this word? I would very much appreciate a linguistic perspective.
