Saw another post referring to the Ego commented on, I presume, by an Islamic scholar. I was surprised by this given, as I understand it, the 'Ego' is a particularly Secular and Academic concept.
I wonder if it's referred to in the Quran or by the prophet, and hoped any informed person here might be able to illustrate something of Islam's concept and means of recognizing the Ego when it's influencing one's actions.
