I am a leader for a Christian group called Young Life and we have camp over this coming weekend. I lead middle schoolers and we have 4 boys coming to camp and one of them is Muslim. I know that's kinda weird but from everything I've seen with Young Life it is a very open and safe place for any and all kids of every background. I just want to be able to love on these kids and try and build relationships with them. But honestly I don't know a lot about Islam or it's traditions or customs. What are some basic things I should know and how can I approach building a relationship with this kid in a way that respects him and his religious beliefs?
