I'm a writer who wants to attend a mosque for research on something I'm writing. Is there a specific kind of service you'd recommend I attend (I just want some familiarity with how it all works, what it feels like to be in a mosque, etc.)? What do I need to know to attend services responsibly, un-intrusively, and inconspicuously.? Do people wear suits, formal clothing? If not, what should I wear? I'm sorry if I sound dumb here, but I am kind of in the dark on all of this.
