Looking through this subreddit, I've noticed two main views: economic libertarians and economic liberals.

Does anyone have any/know any modern scholarly opinions regarding economics? Im referring to social welfare, minimum wage, taxes etc...

There are numerous online academic papers but most are simply reviews of economic policies from past Muslim empires, hardly relevant today.

Also, most people in this sub tend to only give personal opinions on Islamic economics, not scholarly references.

Does anyone have some contemporary works which touch on these matters in depth?
