So I’ve been trying to get a better understanding Islamically of the Palestine/Israel issue. From the push back I’ve seen online from muslims, I foolishly assumed the Quran was against Israel. Turns out the Quran fully recognizes it’s existence and says the land belongs to the Jewish people.
Does anyone have an idea why people think contrary to this? Am I missing something or misinterpreting the text? And just to be clear, this just has to do with the existence of Israel and not the way the Israeli government treats Palestinians currently.
