What does it mean to stand up to injustice as a Muslim in the current era?

I was listening to a khutba and the khateeb said that scholars have the responsibility to be role models in standing up to injustice. It got me thinking, what does it look like to stand up to injustice? What issues as Muslim should we be focused on? How should this manifest? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
