I found many exmuslim struggling and under depression while living with their fundamentalist families who don't feel ashamed to enforce Muslim practices blindly by believing that these are command of Allah and can not be compromised.

Whereas exmuslim believe in modern value system of not interfering in others life, earn a good living standards and contribute to society without discrimination and prejudice. Islam taught a person to be friendly with only Muslims even if bad Muslims or goons, terrorist, liar, cheater, mean and selfish Muslim. Hate any non believer even if they are good character, helping, honest, liberal etc.

My advice to exmuslim is to be friendly with like minded people and it is hard to find Muslim who are good with everyone and don't hate non believer but there will be some or quite possible that they are closet exmuslim. So sorround yourself with people with good values who accept you the way you are. Not judging you on basis of Islamic practices but merit, honesty, good values, good behavior and good attitude.

Some exmuslim specially girls have more challenges and forced to follow Islamic practices but always strive to adhere to modern and secular value system and be friendly with people having same mindset.

Don't let you bother by interference of Muslim in your life because they are shameless and keep doing it repeatedly by saying Allah asked them to do so. If you are forced to do Islamic practices then pretend but ignore them and don't give any importance to such people. They are useless people in your life with whom you have to deal with and defeat their ideology. Focus your energy in becoming a giver to society and not a taker from society.
