Salaam brothers and sisters. First of all, I know that writing fiction is haram, (or atleast a waste of time which I've heard is a sin). But that's something else entirely.
What I want to know is that if I write a completely fictional work (declaring as all contents of the book as fiction) that has things similar to Harry Potter, would it be Shirk ? Of course, the magic done in Harry potter is non sensical and no one has ever been encouraged by it to carry out actual witchcraft. The writer also never claims that the work is anything BUT a work of fiction. So if I write a story in which there are small instances of fictional magic, and a fictional religion that the charecters follow would I have committed the Unforgivable Sin ?
