Is it permissible to pray Asr and Zuhr together after work?

Hi all,

I havent been able to pray zuhr because my workplace doesnt have any rooms for that and the nearest mosque is too far for walking distance. So for the past few months I’ve been praying asr and zuhr together soon as I got home. Is this permissible? Should I pray while sitting instead?
