I'm aware that Islam, although I'm not sure if this is in the Quran, recognizes previous texts, such as the Torah, and the Bible. To my knowledge, the Bible is a set of texts written by different people many years after Prophet Isa's time, so in what way does Islam recognize it? Does it think that those writing it were divinely inspired? Does it recognize only certain parts of the Bible?
