So I already know astrology and horoscopes are haram because they claim to have knowledge of the ghayb (unseen) which is the future. However things like personality charts and just zodiac signs is a personality chart, and from what I see it's just a personality assessment using your birth year. Perhaps there is a science behind year of birth and nature but mostly it's unscientific.
I also hear the month you are born in also affects the personality. These things do interest me as I guess it's fun to know - however I fear this too is also haram, but I don't know for sure. What is the hadith rulings on this? Please only answer if you know.
