My colleagues (one of whom was a devout Muslim) and I were inspecting a construction site when someone pointed out there was some Islamic writings on the cement floor scribbled with a marker. I can't read Arabic but part of the wordings were in English writing: Allah is the most merciful
My Muslim colleague said the Arabic writings were of a similar tone praising Allah. To my astonishment, he then poured paint over the 'Allah' word. When I asked him why he did that, he said: I don't want anyone stepping on his name
Was his course of action correct?
