Asalamu alaykum.
In stores which sell packaged sushi, a little bottle of soy sauce (containing alcohol) is bundled with the sushi which is otherwise halal. Of course, it is haram to use it or give it away so I always simply throw it away without even opening the bottle.
Is what I am doing halal, or is it haram to even buy it in the first place?
